A kitchen they would fall in love with is what these New
England clients desired as they began designing their layout to include all the
amenities necessary to entertain. This
captivating kitchen makeover blends custom cherry cabinets with impressive
detailed archways and mouldings. A long, elegant island provides not only a large working space, but also allows the cook to interact with the guests. Specialties include a marble backsplash, tiled mosaic highlighting their
stove, stainless steel appliances, granite, tiled marble walls, and custom cabinetry.
This renovation combines an open-concept kitchen/dining room/family
room with access and view to their backyard and patio. The inspiration for the wood raised-paneled
archways originated from the old world craftsmanship detail constructed in the
Searles Castle in Windham, NH, a local historic landmark. The seeded glass cabinet doors and custom
rounded shelving along both ends of the island provide a place to showcase the
customer’s novelties acquired while traveling.
A mock cabinet door was created to conceal the dishwasher.
Their new kitchen layout not only serves as a place to prepare meals, but
is also an inviting area for entertaining and family gatherings. A transformation that exceeded these clients’
expectations and a room they will continue to enjoy every day.
"The attention to detail and the desire to
give us a kitchen we would love sets DeSalvo Construction apart from other
contractors. The finished project was another piece of amazing work by
Tim and his team. The comments we hear from folks as they enter our new
kitchen are wonderful!"
